- Going Public: Many people wait until the 12-week mark or later, when the risk of miscarriage is lower. For me, I was closer to 20 weeks by the time I “went public.” This timing allowed for a more stable phase of pregnancy to share with a broader audience.
3. Choosing Who to Tell
- Personal Decision: There is no right or wrong time to share your news—it’s entirely up to you. Consider the dynamics of your relationships and how each person’s reaction might impact you.
- Celebration and Support: Focus on those who will genuinely support you and respect your journey, whether that means celebrating the joy of a positive test or offering a shoulder during difficult times.
